Title: Send multiple sequences at the same time
Post by: mcomin on December 03, 2017, 10:51:44 pm
Hello,
It would be very nice to be able to send a sequence to a MIDI channel and play / arp / sequence on another MIDI channel at the same time !

For instance, if a sequence or an arpeggio on hold is played in channel 1, it would be nice to have a command like shift + #something that would keep the sequence / arp playing in that channel when I change to another channel.

Can you not set the two instruments you want to control to the same MIDI channel?

Ah okay, gotchya, now it make sense, heheh.

Sorry, maybe I didn't explain myself clearly : I've updated the OP. I would like to be able to "hold" a sequence / arpeggio to a given MIDI channel while playing / sequencing / arpeggiating in another channel !

That would be great for a live setup with multiple synths controlled through the keystep !

+2 bonus points if you could send another channel through to CV/Gate  - like on beatstep

hi.
i know this isnt the same but you can have a sequencer going on one channel and play another channel from the same synth using midi.
so you get 2 different sound from the same synth.
1,  hold down both shift andkey play at the same time and as you hold them also press a key to change to midi channel 2..
hope this helps a bit
