Hello everyone, I purchased a Keylab 88 a few weeks ago and I am having issues with sever latency using it with a Steinburg UL22. I have a new MacBook Pro 13" with i5 dual core processer and USB C ports. My signal chain is as follows: KL88->Apple USB to USB C adapter to MacBook. When I use headphones I do not hear a latency with this configuration. When I connect the UL22->USB cable->Apple USB to USB C adapter->MacBook, and then I connect my monitors from the UL22 to the speakers there is a terrible latency.
The salesman at my Samash store told me that the adapters are causing a bottleneck in the data and that is why I have the latency. I bought a stereo mini-jack to 1/4' L & R adaptor which I will try when I get home from work. I want to use my monitors and do some recording. I am wondering if the new M-Audio M track 2X2 might work as it has a USB C port.
