I am trying to sequence my Drumbrute through the Push2 and I can't seem to get the Push 2 to talk to the Drumbrute via MIDI. I am using Ext. Inst. tracks in ableton as channels for the Drumbrutes instruments, Ive also tried to get use out of it through a Drumrack, but still can't get it to work the way I'd like. Also, after recording notes/hits via the Drumbrute into a sequence I am getting no playback. I feel like I'm missing a very basic setup step here, as I have no issues with my minilogue, or my mother 32...

Check your MIDI settings in Ableton and there should be individual configurable MIDI PORTS for both the Drumbrute's INPUT and OUTPUT. It sounds to me like the OUTPUT is turned off. Turn on the Track/Sync/Remote settings as needed.
