Title: Midi Control Centre

So..... I click on a pad in control centre - Change the midi note number to what I want eg change D1 to F#1
I then save and drag from project browser over to project 1 - sysex dump takes place --- but afterwards the midi notes for the pads are the same as before even though it says F#1 it plays D - super annoying - I cant be saving the pads or something - any ideas

Resolved this now - drum map device settings - PM me if you have same problems

Yes. Because of teh pad graphic in control all of us assume that is where we assign drum notes.  But instead its for other on/off control messages, or could be a note, but teh drum pad are over in device setting with no graphic and the manual does not explain the number system for the pad left to right 1-8 closet row to user, row above is 9-16.
