Title: Using sync in to trigger individual notes as gate in
Post by: siseturist on January 05, 2017, 02:04:57 am
If sync in could work the same way as on microbrute to trigger individual notes (chords) both in sequencer and arp mode. That way external sequencer (such as Beatstep) could be used together with it to create more interesting melodic patterns.

Hi,

The option actually exists, go into the MCC settings and select "Sync > 1 Step Gate". Then:
    - Gate rising edge => start current step
    - Gate falling edge => stop current step and go to next one

However this bypasses the time division and the swing setting

Cheers

Is it possible that we are using different versions of MCC?
As I only have the possibility to select Sync Clock In/Out to 1Step (Gate) and the other 2 options are not available.

I added a screenshot from my MCC

I also can not see this feature. Is it available? Would love to use my 707 to trigger the keystep since this feature is not built in the minibrute :)
