Title: MIDI and system setup?
Post by: DrJustice on August 13, 2016, 07:00:01 pm
Thanks for the tutorial video series, nicely done!

What I really want to know though, is how do you do things like setting the MIDI channel, local on/off, perform bulk dumps, etc.?

Oh, and those seemingly looping envelopes in Nori Ubukata's mod matrix video, how are things like that controlled?

You have to use the Midi Control Center software. You can download it from the Resources page (https://www.arturia.com/products/matrixbrute/resources).

There's a tutorial video here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWnvxvHg67U).

I think some of the MIDI settings will be possible to perform on the synth itself with a future firmware upgrade, but for now it's done with the MCC software.

OK. To do that you'll first have to run the Midi Control Center, go to the DEVICE page, then set "MIDI clock source" to MIDI.
