Title: Corrupt Modules loading in empty slot when object exists, 2nd time
Post by: jeffbart on June 12, 2016, 12:08:01 pm
In the top panel modules, when loading a module that is already in use elsewhere, the existing module is destroyed [PRIOR ISSUE REPORTED http://forum.arturia.com/index.php?topic=87722.0 ]

Furthermore, when attempting to load that existing module a second time in an empty module slot, it loads a module with a corrupt image.

To reproduce this, pick any standard patch  (e.g.'1 osc 1 Ftr') with Filter 1,2 3 loaded in slots Module 1, Module 2 and Module 3.
In Module 3, select Filter 2. This should destroy the Filter 2 in Module 2.
In the empty Module 2, select Filter 2.  This is expected to destroy Filter 2 in Module 3, but instead it creates a corrupted Filter 2 next to the existing Filter 2.

It also does this for all module slots e.g the LFOs, Envelopes, Triggers etc.

Cheers Jeff

Yes this is true. Same here.
But i would believe it should be fixed in a way so it's not possible to load a allready loaded module, like mentioned in the thread you link to. A allready loaded module shall not be in the menu to pick again unless it's being unloaded and availble again.

EDIT: If this is not caused by the fault that you can select a used module, then off coarse this should be fixed too.

Hi,

Since those two issues are strongly linked, let's try to discuss them in a single thread (http://forum.arturia.com/index.php?topic=87722.msg131924).

Thanks :)

Hi All,
New versions of all our plugins are now available in the ArturiaSoftwareCenter.
Those versions should fix your issue.
Best
Ben
