Title: So where in all the FAQ's or manuals is multi-mode actually explained?
Post by: pax-eterna on April 17, 2016, 11:06:44 pm
Thread title says it all :)  can anyone point me to resources that fully explain this mode, rather than just state it has multi mode?

Thanks

Its in the Analog Lab manual. In the latest Analog Lab 2.0 manual its section 3.5.

ahhh thanks. So multi mode is not all that flash then. Still only two parts. When will Arturia get with the 21st century and allow rx/tx on all 16 channels?

I would love to be proven wrong but to answer your question, I imagine 16 channels will come only with the successor to the keylab line.

yeah you are probably right, but if Arturia can "magically" get the power supply to recognise a 9volt power pack simply by updating firmware, maybe they can do this as well  ???

I figure that all depends on the limitations of the hardware. I imagine adding more channels costs more processor power and, you know, because this is only a controller, the processor on the Keylab line might be somewhat minimal.
