Title: Changing drum templates
Post by: faster on April 12, 2016, 12:19:29 pm
A question about the DRUM sequencer, NOTES map in particular.

The Midi Control Center, shows possibility of changing the default notes in drum sequenceR

If I make a NEW template on PC with "custom notes" and use it on a project and save it in project, will I OVERWRITE the existing default setting on all projects?

....meaning, can I have 2 different templates?

Incredible, no one from Arturia can tell me if it is possible to have different DRUM NOTE MAPS saved with projects? ....without re-assigning on PC if I want to change drum machine?

A simple question, yes or no is sufficient.

This would be very useful in using two of your own products together,.....BSP + iSpark.

Thank you for the answer.
It would be great if maps could be saved with projects.

I would love if it would be possible to use drum mode on pads and midi cc on encoders at the same time. That way it would be possible to change parameters on some drum machines or percussion software.

Nope. What I meant was that while in drum mode the encoders only work for shift, velocity and gate, but it'd be useful if there was also a MIDI CC mode.

yes please +1
i don't even have to be able to store the mappings on the bsp, but at least changing the corresponding midi note numbers on the fly using the 16 encoders would be a big improvement...!
thank you!
