Title: CS-80 Osc
Post by: ASch on March 31, 2016, 09:29:52 pm
This is odd...

When I use the CS-80 Osc in my own patches my waveform choice is saw, square, sine, white noise. But... when I look at the preset 0222 "Isaos Whistle" - that uses 2 CS-80 oscs and one of them has the waveform tri selected! If I change its waveform to something else, then I can't reselect tri, but it defo loads with tri selected.

Any thoughts?

Andreas

Can confirm and odd indeed! Maybe it's possible to "hack" some old ogs xml which uses the cs-80?

Who knows what lies hidden  ;)

@hermitnerd
Hmmmmm, well I should know  ;)
But I don’t.... I mean right now I don’t. I’ll have to start some debugging to understand what’ happening there.

@ASch
BTW, what is your firmware version?

Thx

on a related note,

Philippe, is there any way recent updates to the TAE engine might make their way into the Origin firmware at some point?

I realize new templates and other new features requests could be very time consuming, but the TAE engine itself, is probably only a relatively small chunk of code?
