Title: Keystep Chord mode: is it simple transposition or can the chords be programmed?

At NAMM, demos made the chord mode look limited. It appeared as if one finger playing a note  produced the same chord transposed up the keyboard. So C would play c major, D would play d major instead of d minor. So are the chords constrained by selectable scales like in the Beatstep Pro?

 I'm also trying to find out if chord mode is programmable, like Xfer's Cthulhu? Since the step sequencer is polyphonic, can we simply program chords into the sequencer then play the steps out of order (for jamming) by playing the 32 keys? This would make it a great songwriting improvisational tool.

This would be very helpful to me because I'm planning to use it for live work.

Being able to have the song structure in sequences (verse, chorus, bridge, etc) would solve a lot of my problems live

Hello.

First you define a chord, then It will keep the same spaces between your notes.

So when you press a key, the chord lower note will be placed on the pressed note.
