Title: midi output not working

Just picked up a beatstep and I can't get mid output to work.  It only works via USB to control my soft synths.  mid connection doesn't seem to be working.  midi setting in controle center looks fine to me.

am i missing something?  i've got a beatstep pro as well and works fine.  i know the pro has option to send out via midi, usb or both.  beatstep does not have this in the settings.

what am i missing here.

Did you get the midi connector with the beat step.  As the bsp one's different.

ahh yes, looks like the seller gave me his pro cable instead.  thanks!
