Title: Need help with MIDI setup.

Hello, this is my first post here and I need help with my setup. My akai mpk49 is hooked up to the midi in of my microbrute however when I play a note on the mpk, nothing happens. I don't really know much about midi programming and such, however I'm willing to learn.

Darkpaw95, do you have the manual for your MB? I do believe in there it tells you how to do what you want.
Im not as far as you are Im still learning the MB.

Oh want a great deal of fun??   Try using your MB through guitar pedals.. I use 3 with mine and it expands what you can do greatly.

check on youtube.. theres some good vids using MB with guitar pedals

Hello! You might need to change the MIDI out channel on the Akai – or the MIDI in channel on the Microbrute via the Connection app. Default for the latter is 1. And I agree on the pedal issue. Get the strymon El Capistan!
