Title: Why does the keyboard have a MIDI in port?
Post by: Old_School on November 18, 2015, 01:57:23 am
As the keyboard is merely a controller that produces no sound I am wondering, why the MIDI in port on the keyboard? I'm hoping that it might mean I can pass along clock sync. Meaning I receive clock into keyboard and then use keyboard to control a synth that can sync LFO to MIDI clock. Other than that I can't fathom why a controller needs a MIDI in. Why would you need to control a controller?
