Title: Basic additional features - are these possible??
Post by: JRo on October 27, 2015, 12:20:39 am
Overall I really think this is a great product, I'm loving working with it and have been up late every night laying down grooves since I got it - it just needs another 20% development on the software! In my relatively simple set up I haven't found any reliability issues reported here (except for the looper not re-syncing all sequences - wft is with that?!)

Lots has been said about additional features improve usability, here are 4 things I expected and was kinda disappointing to find weren't supported (I think, who knows?!)
My wishlist:
-record midi in from external sources (i.e. keyboard on midi channel 3)
-record drum rolls in using the roller/ looper
-playback specific step ranges (i.e. 17-32)
-flexible copy/ paste sequences (i.e a buffer so you can copy and paste a set range to any location)

With these addition life would be so sweet.

Unless I misunderstand what you are saying, the first one on your list is supported- you can record a sequence from an external keyboard.

Hi,
As Zymos said , it's possible to record a sequence from an external keyboard. Just set the right Input MIDI channel, plug your device in the BSP MIDI In and then Rec-Play.
Recording Drum rolls won't be possible, playback specific step ranges and flexible copy/paste are not on the dashboard for now.
