Title: Keybed replacement any possible?
Post by: McFly on March 20, 2015, 03:52:25 pm
Hi everyone!
I bought my Keylab 61 in Russia last fall.
Everything was good until 2 keys suddenly got broken.
I contacted Arturia Support for any help and they offered me to ship to me a new keybed (for which i have to pay, 'cause the keyboard was not purchased through Arturia).
As i discovered on this and other forums, this keybed issue is extremely common.
Does anybody know if it's possible to replace Keylab's keybed with something more durable and quality (semi-weighted keybed by Fatar, Yamaha or smth. else)?

Thanks.

I have a feeling that Arturia uses the Fatar keybed anyway.  It might be worth picking up a cheap used Fatar SL161 and swapping out the keybed, can't be sure it's identical but you haven't got much to lose finding out.  :)
