Title: Can it replace the Spark LE?
Post by: catalinp2004 on January 25, 2015, 04:51:06 pm
Can we assume that the Beatstep Pro can replace the Spark LE with it's Drum Sequencer?
Will the Drum Sequencer work with the Spark 2 software in an integrated manner?
Since you have more pads, more knobs + 2 extra sequencers at the same price would there be any point in owning both units?

P.S. just got the spark LE 4 days ago...  ;D

I would assume that it would.  I use my Beatstep with SparkLE since it has double the drum pads.  I mapped the knobs on the Beatstep to the volume of the Spark instruments so I can mix my drums that way...the combination of Beatstep with SparkLE really makes Spark2 productive for me.

Hi , im not sure yet whether beatstep pro is integrated with sparkle yet . but i think its going to be like any other controller that you need to assign the correct notes and controller information in to beastep pro  to use it with sparkle.
as soon as i get to test it i will let you know .

Well for me I was thinking the addition of the xox buttons  made it suited as long as they can be mapped , but I think the op was wondering if the spark software will be updated to recognize it as a default controller as much as the spark le . Would make since as an alternative .....
