Hi - has anyone found the same thing - I have just bought Keylab49 but cannot seem to use the transport controls with Cubase Artist 8....sooooo frustrating. Any help would be really gratefully received....
Have sought "support" from Arturia, but they simply closed the ticket without any action...really disappointed by that - it does not give one faith in their after sales service - they've got my money though! :(

Hi, that works for me with Cubase Pro 8
Open Transport > Project Synchronization Setup > Machine Control Input section
Click "MMC Slave Active"
In MIDI TimeCode Source Section Select Keylab 49
MMC input : ALL MIDI Input
MMC Device ID : 127
Click Start/Stop on your keyboard to check that it works
Greetings

Thanks for responding Ruedi - In my Cubase Artist 8 I only appear to have "Machine Control OUTPUT" section - not an INPUT section :( :(
...why would Cubase not support simple transport controls from a keyboard for their Artist version ?

Yes, I'm surprised.
Only in PRO.
But you can via Generic Midi Device (Midi Learn Funtion) the Transport Window reassign.
I have tested this before, and had only problems with the Transport Buttons, because they dont send a Midi Signal. with the other Pads or Knobs no problem.
Perhaps its because the MMC Funtion.
But with the other solution its no problem, but you need the Pro Version.

Hi Ruedi - after all this time I now have PRO version and your comments enabled me to finally have transport controls on my Keylab 49 working - thanks for that. :D
