Title: OS needed for firmware/editor?
Post by: chroma on September 28, 2014, 09:51:41 pm
I'm looking forward to getting my new micro-brute any day now. I'm just wondering what OS I will need to update the latest firmware and/or run the editing software. (I have access to Macs and PC's but some of them are running older OS's)
If I can't update it right away will it still run OK out of the box in the meantime? Will I be missing much?

Hope someone can help, Thanks

the release notes only list known issues, and not anything that was added or fixed, so I wouldn't even worry about it.

FWIW, you can also do all the 'editing' (except sequence management) with a midi controller, albeit only until you reboot. So an iPad e.g. with any number of controller apps can be useful for on the go reprogramming the 'digital' features
