Title: minilab not connecting to pc, "pad", "down" and "up" pads flashing

It worked just fine for almost a year. Today I couldn"t connect it to the pc , 3 above mentioned pads blink , "shift" turns them off but the keyboard appears as disconnected. When connected to the midi control center "sync". "memories" , "store" and "recall" also flash.
Any advice?

Interesting - same thing just happened to my unit. Won't initialize.
