Title: variable sequence length on the fly or even not on the fly?

This is a great product for the price. I'm just curious if there's any way to play smaller sequences out of a larger one without having to start from step 1.
So, let's say I'm playing a 16-step sequence and I'd like to play just the sequence  from step 4 to step 8 then step 3 to step 7, then step 6 to 12…etc.
Is this at all possible?
