Title: my future request
Post by: dhocks on June 08, 2012, 10:11:58 am
What I really would like in a future version of spark is to be able to make polyrhytms.
Now the sequence length for all the different kitpieces are the same. It would be great to be able to alter the sequence length of every kit piece individually.
So you have an 4/4 bassdrum an 7/4 snare and an 14/4 hi hat pattern for instance..

I realize that it is possible to create those patterns in the current version, however it is an overly (and unnecessary) tedious job. If you would be able to alter sequence length per instrument (as with FX's Tremor for instance) it would simplify the job significantly.

Please consider!

thanks

Hi dhocks,

This is a good idea. I don't think that we will be able to do it in the short time because it require lots of work in the sequencer engine.
However we will consider this for a futur major update.
