Title: Waiting for delivery, still no reply for email...
Post by: BASSKILLA on June 16, 2004, 04:01:22 pm
Hi everyone!

I ordered Storm 3 update a few days before they started
sending it to the people, paid via online bank transfer
from germany the same day.

But still got no copy, got no replies on my emails
to sales@a..com, contact@a..com, david.poncet@a..com

Has anyone an idea how long it might take to get that
CD to my house from france and what about the support,
are they extremly busy in these days or what ?

Even if it takes some time to deliver, I'd like to know about at least...

Happy to hear from you guys,
all the best from germany !

The anticipation is more satisfying than the delivery. Enjoy it while you can.

Even though there may be truth in what was just stated....

I got a confirmation for my order on 20th of may, and now it's a month later and still no software has arrived.

peace

Hey there !

PM isn't working right ( or have you got my reply?)

Even if I wasn't the one that wrote that sentence,
"The anticipation is more ..."
I hope there's not to much of truth in it..

Keep  8)

So you also didn't get anything until now ?
As I said, for me it's even more surprising not
to get any reply by email from arturia then
to wait for Storm 3...

In general, I always was very satisfied with
the arturia service, had never any problems..
Just don't understand where the problem is
right now..  ( can you help, support@a...a.com ?? )

Hope, they will deliver my copy till next week...

All the best,

Sven Basskilla

I wrote via support to Arturia folks and I got an email back saying that
there were delays sending out the product..Mine was sent on 03/06/04.

Umm, finally my package arrived...well actually it almost didn't because....
Arturia screwed up my address and sent it to the WRONG post office box!

Luckily I have friends in the Post Office and they recognized that I was
depressed and located my Storm3 package for me...eventually.

Now THAT is awesome  ,
I REALLY didn't mean to post my last "complain"
about ten times ... I always got a PHP-Error so I retried
to post.. and again a little later... well, let's say it like this:

I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY STORM 3 !!!
( and @administrator, really, really sorry...wasn't my intention..    )

But congratulations, hope everything finally worked
out right and your copy arrived at your house now !?!
( I'm not sure if I did understand anything right -- german ! )

Please Arturia, send my copy to my house....
( and please send replies on emails ! )

Best regards to everyone,

Sven Basskilla

Ok, I only wish people would understand that some of us who are having problems are actually the very keen Storm musicians users like me!

Storm3 is still extremely buggy:(

I've discovered 1 technique that seems to fix the screen redraw errors!

When your entire screen/page gets lost because you minimized or
opened up sample library whilst software is rolling etc, you can
hit SPACE bar on your keyboard and it can restore this problem!

On the other hand if you want to have problems....plug in your mic...
open EZtrack and start chatting to yourself whilst a sequence with a couple of modules are running, this really sets off the timing problems. And all this with total cpu useage under 15%.

I dunno what to do about it, I would have thought the devs would be talking to us in order to make the software perform correctly, maybe
with a Mac it does, I dunno, but, for now for me the regime to follow is,

1/save every few minutes, any longer and your gonna lose everything to a freeze!
2/forget about recording microphone content/using EZtrack, and basically
pray very regularly.
3/Think about buying a dedicated recorder because EZtrack ain't got the balls to make it all worth going through.

Oh yeh, also, EZtrack input Latency is pathetic! Maybe the devs should
not try and compress the audio at the input phase? (If that's what is happening {I'd swear that the audio being recorded by EZtrack is being compressed in real time}....Please tell me I'm wrong.....
