Title: Arp2600V eLicenser Control - Error
Post by: Gothboy on November 17, 2010, 03:01:29 pm
Lately I've been getting an eLicenser Control error when re-starting Pro Tools sessions containing an instance of the 2600V after a crash:

"eLicenser Control - error

Application 'Arp 2600V2' has caused the following error:

Application 'Synsopos.app' could not be started. Probably the file is corrupted or incompatible, or file access permissions are set incorrectly.

Please download and install the latest version of the eLicenser Control software from

<http://www.eLicenser.net>

Options:
 - Click <Ok> to abort.

After I get into the session I can remedy this by just making the 2600 active but it's really annoying.  My eLicense dongle is plugged in like always and I did update and re-install the eLicenser Control software the first time this happened.  Don't know what's causing this.

Is your ARP2600V version 2.0.1 (http://www.arturia.net/downloads/arp2600v/testing/ARP2600_V2_2.0.1.dmg)?
Is your Pro Tools up-to-date?

Antoine,
     It's in the signature: 8.0.4.  there is a CS1 update that I haven't done yet but the fixes in that update have nothing to do with Arturia plugins or dongles. 8.0.4 is about as recent as it gets for me right now.  I'm not going to PT 9 for awhile.
