Title: Is the Jupiter 8-V compatible with Windows 7 64 bit?
Post by: 79_Limited on December 19, 2009, 05:33:52 pm
I finished building my new DAW with i7 920 processor running Windows 7 64 bit with 6 gigs of RAM.  Has anyone had any issues loading the Jupiter 8-V with Windows 7 64 bit?

I also plan to buy more of the Arturia synths soon but want to make sure they will work before doing so.

I haven't jumped in completely but I have the i5 64, quad core and it seems to be working fine.

I did have one issue when I took the dongle out and loaded up ableton.  it appeared as if it vanished.  I think even the uninstall option was gone too.  I reinstalled the plug-in again, kept the dongle in and it seems to be ok.

I read in the forum where someone wrote and said they has issues loading up logic if the dongle wasn't plugged into the computer.  I would strongly advise having a home studio and perhaps one for shows which you aren't live expecting things to work perfectly.. perhaps using the stage computer for shows using loops ect...

I think as long as you keep the dongle in your computer you should be fine has been my experience up until this point.
