Title: AF 2.2.1 updater doesn't work in ProTools 8.0.1
Post by: migliari on October 05, 2009, 01:20:45 am
Just purchased AF 2.0, got through the registration process and had it working in PT 8.0.1 HD, but didn't seem to be very stable. Then I spotted the updater to ver. 2.2.1 which claims to improve behaviour in ProTools under Leopard (I'm on Mac OS 10.5.8) so I installed it.
Needless to say, now Analog Factory doesn't work at all, I get a DAE error -7125. Any pointers?

Cheers,

Marco Migliari

Hi Marco,
Does the Analog Factory run fine in standalone mode?
Does its license appear in the eLicenser Control Center?

Hi Antoine, AF 2.2 works fine in stand-alone mode, with my Digidesign interface. I've also just licensed the eLicenser without any problems. There is NO Arturia Engine in the Library->Application Support->Digidesign->Plugins folder but the version of Analog Factory.dpm in there is 2.0 and NOT 2.2. Is there anywhere where I can just download the correct version of the .dpm file? I've tried running the Analog_Factory_2_2_1.dmg updater from your website again but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

My setup is as follows: Mac Pro 2x3GHz Quad Core, 6GB RAM, Mac OS 10.5.8 ProTools 8.0.1 HD

Thanks,

Marco

Hi Marco,
Please open a Technical Support ticket from your account, as we may sink in computer poetry.
Best,
Antoine.
