Post by: Antoine on April 24, 2009, 05:14:03 pm
Once you installed the latest MiniMg-V 2.0 update, make sure to attentively follow the steps described here:

Optionally, we have redacted a document with the full process for MiniMg-V 2.0 newcomers (registration + authorization):

Hi,

I've e-mailed support 2x with no reply. I am a registered 1.6 user but when I go to the licence page there is NO button to request a MiniMg 2 activation code. Please help.

Thanks,

---JC

Hi Antoine,

perhaps you could help me to. I have the problem, that i bough Arturia MiniMg V with the buy one get one free. I chose jupiter 8 as the second instrument and that was automatically registered and the syncrosoft dongle was in use. for miniMg V i only had to put in my "license number" with the cd installation and everything was ok. now i wanted to register my miniMg V but the license key of the plastic card wasn't accepted. so i don't know how to register my miniMg V to use miniMg V2...
i wrote 2 emails i think, but didn't get an answer. i don't belive its a spam problem but perhaps i could get better response here. Would be nice if you could answer.

thx

@cocodile
Handling such users issues from the forums is not efficient at all: confidentiality and traceability imperatives are broken.
Please log in your Arturia account, and ask for Tech Support from there (even if from Jupiter-8V registration).

hi antoine,

thanks for the answer. i wrote several times to the technical support, i think 6 days passed since the first mail. i thought perhaps they didn't get my email. i didn't want to blame anyone here. i'm just wondering why there is not an answer.

i hope i'll get one soon. i have no idea what to do...

One question, (may be a stupid question) ¿can i instal miniMg v 2 in two computers, (one laptop with internet, and my studio audio pc, without internet.

Ah! my laptop when i doble click for play the miniMgv2 say:
Application 'miniMg V 2' has caused the following error:

No eLicenser connected.

Options:
 - For troubleshooting information click <Help>.
 - Connect a valid eLicenser and click <Retry>.
 - Click <Cancel> to abort.

help.     retry.   cancel.

if i click retry nothing, if i click cancel the laptop say:

Attention: If you cancel this operation the application might crash.

Options:
 - For troubleshooting information click <Help>.
 - Connect a valid eLicenser and click <Retry>.
 - Click <Cancel> to abort.
And then i click cancel, (no more options) and... "file not found"

And my audio pc, can not transfer the license number.

Thank you.

According to the EULA, you can run Analog Factory on only one machine, and you don't need any hardware dongle to strictly operate it.
But, if you want to use it on several computers (one at a time) the license must be stored on an external device, allowing this particular comfort of use. Even, this prevents any license loss in case of hard drive crash, or simple system failure.

So, to sum-up:
_ to use Analog Factory on 1 computer, you don't need any USB-eLicenser hardware dongle.
_ to use Analog Factory on 2 or more computers, you need a USB-eLicenser hardware dongle.

Hi Antoine,
I am having difficulty to find the field in Syncrosoft License Control panel to paste the authorization you provided upon registration. It does not have a field to Paste and it does not have a Copy command anywhere. You can Download, Transfer and Remove only...

The link you provided - "Step-by-step guide to Registration and Activation" - in your first posting in this topic is broken. There is no webpage with the document, at least that what my Firefox is saying.

The link that is provided in the final registration window - For more information on the syncrosoft protection, click here - gets you to a page that says "Please note that Syncrosoft is not providing user support for the eLicenser DRM solution anymore." You can go to download a newest version of the App, but that's it.

Can you please post a document that actually shows the Syncrosoft License Control Center windows and gives you steps on how to authorize MiniMg V2?

Going in circles here...

Hi Russo,
Seems a filthy typo was included in the link, here is the correct one (ftp://ftp2.arturia.com/pub/manual/Register_and_activate.pdf).

[EDIT: fixed link]

Hi,

Seems like I have a little different problem: I bought and successfully installed the 10 Year Anniversary Suit, but when I tried to register the products, I could not unlock the Minimoo-V (and only this one, others are just fine). Of course, the Syncrosoft key wont work for this one (but again other titles are ok).

What should I do to complete my registration ?

Hello Antoine!
How are you?! I'm Ismael Serrano. I meet you on Arturia Origin Demo Session, Microfusa Madrid, Spain.

I'm try to install miniMg V and Syncrosoft License show me the message: 'This Soft eLicenser has been already registered for other computer!'. What is the problem? Is the first time I install miniMg V.
I wrote a message to technical support. I think you could resolve the incidence.

Thanks in advance!

P.D.--> I still think on Arturia Origin... it's a beast. I'm impressioned for the synth.

Hi Ismael,
I just processed your case early this afternoon.
I presume you confuse with the other Antoine here, at Sales. No problem, it happens every time, even if I am much more handsome. ;)

Hi

I bought the 10 Year suite but I cannot register the MiniMg-V.  This is the message shown by the online registration page:

MiniMg-V
Your Arturia License number IS NOT listed in our database !
Mail sent to Arturia support team.

Any ideas?  The MiniMg soft synth seems to run okay, but I just can't register it.

I was able to register and activate the other synths in the suite okay.

Thanks!

Hello Antoine,

i bought a MiniMg V Version in 2005. I didn't use it for years but now i want to install it again.

I followed your instructions (How to Request Your Activation Code) and I have an activation code. I installed miniMg 2.01 but alway if i start the program the program sais that the eLicenser has no license and the programm crashes.

Do I need a dongle? I can't remember ...

I have a Mac Book Pro. Mac OS X 10.4.11. Intel Core 2 Duo.

Thanks for your help and greetings from germany.
