Title: Can I use MIDI and AUDIO input??

HERE is the Essence of the problem that I have not seen solved anywhere yet::

When you use the arp as a VI, there is no way to route external audio to it.

When you use it as a EFFECT, there is no way to route external MIDI to it!
Thus you cant use both external audio and midi at the same time. Argh.

THIS is a serious problem (I am using digital performer) in an otherwise incredible synth.
Somebody PLEASE prove me wrong on this one. Thanks much
