Title: Issues installing V Collection
Post by: Arturo on January 10, 2009, 06:15:32 am
Hey everyone, i bought the Arturia V Collection a while back and installed it without any issues.  I recently formatted my machine and started reinstalling all my software.  I plugged in the dongle and  installed most of the synths but for some reason when i tried to install CS-80 V, MiniMg V and Mg Modular V i was prompted for an "Auth Code" before it installed.  I installed the latest syncrosoft software and even tried installing the remaining 3 with the dongle pulled out.  I also did all the classic things (reboot, shut down and wait etc) but i still get the prompt.

Anyway know anything about this?

Thanks!

PS: I'm running a PPC G5 (Dual 2.3) with Tiger 10.4.9. installed.

Suggested CS-80 V, MiniMg V and Mg Modular V install process:
1. remove any disc from the computer;
2. download and install the latest updates (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/downloads/updates.html) available;
3. *only when prompted* insert original disc, and enter license number (printed on the credit-sized plastic card).
No Syncrosoft auth code needed for those (neither for the ARP2600V).
If any further problem, the Tech Support (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/kb/?View=entry&EntryID=85) should handle it nicely.
