Title: analog factory v1 updated to v2 doesn't work in Protools (mac)
Post by: 4edawg on September 26, 2008, 05:58:16 am
Hi

I purchased the AFv1.  Installed.  Downloaded and upgraded to v2.  Updated Syncrosoft program.  It says my Syncrosoft elicense is on the USB key which came with AFv1.

All good.  Load PT7.4 and go to use AF and it gives me a DAE error -7125.

I can open and use AF 2.2 as a seperate application, just cant run it within PT.

Anyone know whats going on?

Hello,

Try deleting databases and preferences either manually or using the Digidesign tech support folder:

http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...4&itemid=25974

Worked for me

Also make sure you have downloaded version 2.2.1

I'm having the exact same problem, and trashing all database and preference folders didn't help.

"The plug-in could not be made active because a DAE error was encountered (error #-7125)."

Found the solution. Do a SEARCH for 'Analog Factory' on your system and delete everything that comes up. Then re-install the new version and voila! Works like a charm. At least for me.
