Title: Buffer settings ??

Dears all,
can someone suggest me the right buffer settings on a MacBook Pro 2.4
4 gb ram Mac OSX 10.4.11.
I've tried some different settings but i've notice of some glitches and pops
on sustained notes. Also i've activate I/O safety buffer in Logic 8.0.1.
If desactivated just one note is causing 1 processor full coarse.

What soundcard do you have?
512ms should be fine, even 256 with a good soundcard.

For live application i am using buillt in.
Is not a good idea ? Do you think is better to carry an Audiocard ?
I have some. FF400-Us122 etc. I am waiting for MacBook pro slot dedicated soundcard.

HI, is not a audiocard or buffer issue ..... was just the Airport turned on.
Switch off and all instruments are playng without problems (!!!!?????).
