Title: Arturia's Horrible Support!!!
Post by: izzi63 on April 10, 2007, 10:56:53 pm
Ever since I installed the latest update (version 1.6) of MiniMg V, I have had an issue with a "Bug". I emailed support and after MANY emails, they finally got back to me confirming the "Bug". THAT WAS MONTHS AGO!!! Back in November!!! I have been sending out email after email and "no one is home" I'm furious, I have never seen such crappy support!!! And there is no way to reach them by phone as well. So, I have wasted my time and money on this piece of sh*t company. Thanks Arturia!!! So much for GOOD BUSINESS

Below are the emails regarding the problem and the ONE reply that I have received in over 6 months,

Hello,

Is anyone ever going to reply to my many emails. This company is certainly a let down.

Is there ever going to be a fix for the bug (See Below) that I found!

Thank You,

Hello,

This is indeed a bug. I'm sorry any beta tester found this one during the beta test. Anyway, I'll keep that in our database and we'll try to address it as soon as possible.

Best regards

I have made several attemps to contact this company and the support has been horrible!!!. I'm having issues with the New update for the MiniMg V (1.6). When I open the Program in Stand Alone Mode and collapse the Mg Window and then uncollapse it, the right half of the Mg GUI display window is missing. If I choose to hide the Mg window from the Menu Bar, the whole Mg GUI is Blacked out. I didn't even bother to try and use it as a Plug-in in my Audio Host Applications. I'm having the exact same problems on 2 different  computers. My system specs are listed below. What a piece of crap update!!! I had to revert back to 1.5 with the Pro Tools 7 update. Keep up the good work!!!

PowerMac G5 DualCore 2.3 with 4.5 GB of Ram and a PowerBook G4 1.33 17 inch with 2 GB of Ram, both PPC and running Tiger 10.4.8. I'm using them with a DIGI 002 with ProTools LE 7.1cs10.

I don't have that exact same tech issue as you, but I have had other issues using Mini Mg V in Nuendo. And like you I have not been able to reach anybody at Arturia for months. Previous to this, I always received an answer from either Frederic Brun or somebody else at Arturia. But for the past 6 months it's as if my emails are getting deleted. I hope this is a temporary glitch, because I don't know how I'd work without my Arturia instruments.

I hear you Ted! The only reason why I put up with the crap is because I love the MiniMg V! But I will never buy another product from this company!!! My time is too valuable to be playing games! Maybe Arturia's up in the Alps doing a little skiing.

Cheers and good luck,

P.S.
It's an honor to hear from you, I'm a huge fan of all your work. Thanks for the reply!

Thanks!  It's a honour just to get an actual response from anybody connected to Arturia, even if it is just another user like myself.

It's odd - I sent a bunch of emails to people at Arturia I have had correspondence from in the past, but most of them came back "no such person". Arturia seems like a government that was overthrown, and they're all hiding somewhere in Siberia  :-)

Hey Ted,

My emails aren't coming back to me, there just getting sent into the abyss. This has happen to me before with Arturia. By the way, I just listened to your EM Podcast and I enjoyed it! I use the Studio Projects Mics (C1 & T3) myself. I'm a Singer/Songwriter in NYC and the Mics do a really nice job on my voice.

Anyway, have a good one and good luck with Arturia, you'll need it!

I'll look you up the next time I'm in NY. We can compare notes on where the next good software manufacturer is, because it definitely ain't here.

I have great support and relationships with the major music software players today. They ALL answer me promptly and respond to any emails I send. The same way Arturia USED to be. I just don't understand what they're thinking.

Oh, of course!! They apologized profusely for treating me like shit. Then they sent me flowers, the latest versions of all their software, and paid for a weekend vacation for me and my wife.

And then I woke up  :-)

From you? Sure, why not. I haven't had any dealings with you yet. As far as I know, you might be the only decent person at Arturia.

I like you already, and I think you have a great attitude and a marvelous sense of humour.

My advice to you - get a job with a different company - you deserve better than Arturia. Contact me if you ever get to the States.

Bonsoir!

I bought the arturia vintage collection II and I had a problem with crackling sound of Jupiter-8V in FL Studio.
However, I registered my Jupiter-8V and after that I sent a support request.
1 day later I got an answer from the arturia support which helped me to solve my problem.

My problem is the liars who run Arturia, not the products. The synths all sound amazing! The people behind the products, however, have no morals or shame.

If you email them continuously, they will take away your pro user endorsement. Just ask me.

They are arrogant nasty people who care little for their customers. Vincent T. is the only decent person associated with Arturia anymore.

As far as I know they use a bugtracker so you better send a "REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT" request via the web form at the arturia web page  instead of sending an email directly to arturia_support@arturia.com.
In the web form you must provide some information about the product so the arturia support guys have already some important information.

Just an idea...

nicogrubert,

Thanks but that is exactly what I did. As a matter of fact, I have 2 "Open Cases" that have never been resolved/answered.

They (arturia) really suck. I used their instruments to record three songs in the new Adam Sandler hit movie "Chuck & Larry". I even appear in the movie onstage with Lance Bass of *NSYNC. Arturia's instruments sound great, but the guys running the company are buttheads.

Hey Ted,

Congrats on the new movie!!!

Vincent T:

You asked me if I still needed support and I replied yes, yet I haven't heard back from you or anyone else for that matter from Arturia. Why ask if your not going to help?

I asked because I am going to help you. You haven't heard back from me because I have a lot of work and can't spend hours on the forum. Please send me a mail with your problem or a link to your open cases ; my mail address is in my profile.
