Hi there,
well sorry to disappoint you but: the keyboard will have monophonic pressure only. But the keyboard has a very nice touch and I think a lot of people will like it.
Cheers

The people from Arturia say the Origin does "respond" to both Channel
and Polyphonic Aftertouch....It is only the presently"attached" keyboard
that is Channel Aftertouch only......
-
so you gotta find an Ensoniq SQ80 for the polyaftertouch ;)
I have one..woohooo..
8)

So do I.....and a CS80........but the Sq80 is a little spongey....
thats why I am bidding on a Midiboard so I can have the real feel of the polyphonic Aftertouch the CS80 made famous......
As I said in other posts, polyAT is supported....maybe they can custom up
a couple of poly AT keybeds with enough persistance......they seem to
have listened to our plea for hardware....... :)
-
ok..you win ;)
-
Are you aware of the SQ8L software synth you can download for free???
It is basicly the SQ80 synth on computer...
here is the link

good ol butchy :)
does it sound anywhere close to the real thing??? Can't really test it.. working on a mac..but..typing this on my brand new macbook..sooo..could install windows now ;)
-
yes it does.....
I'm not sure if the 2 types of pitch bend( all / notes held) are in play
-
My apologies.........
TFT....... is not touch field technology.........it means Thin Film Transistor....
Now I feel like a Complete Ass....
The Origin keyboard Therefore does not have a Touch screen......
Sorry.....
It would be a blessing however if Arturia added a video
and "com" port connector to allow my 15" touch screen to interact
with the keyboard...
I would have at that point 2 flip up panels then...the right
one my phillps touch screen, which I could A/B between the
Hardware Synth and My computer Soft Synths.....
