First time this has happened, just went into the standalone mode, hitting the Spark icon
on my desktop, when it came up Spark controller connecting, then connection failed, what's went wrong ?
Something to do with the driver ? Any suggestions ?
Thanks

Is Spark doing sound?
If the audio device is not setup up correctly, the software can not connect to the controller.

Hi Kevin, yes the audio test gives me the sound, so I don't know what the problem is !
Except, it also brings up a box when I try to load it into my DAW, and it says please go into
the MIDI settings in your DAW and uncheck private in and private out, only problem is
it's not sowing up in my DAW, any thoughts ?
Thanks

Are the pads lightening up on the controller? The "remove private ports" isn't relevant - it shows up to everybody and as I understand - you can ignore it...

I have this same problem too if I try to use SparkLE in standalone. I have to toggle my interface setting for it to work so I hardly use SparkLE in this way. I'm hoping they fix this with 2.0

The pads only light up when I first boot up my PC, it just runs through them all,
after that, nothing, just the blue light at the top right hand is on where it says Spark and MIDI
it's the Spark one that's lit !!

How do you connect your SparkLE ?
You shouldn't use a USB HUB or any USB extension to plug your sparkle into.
Use USB port at the back of your computer and plug your Sparkle directly into them.

Hi Ben, it's straight into a USB port at the back of my PC, what should the audio and MIDI settings show in the setup tab ?
-
Your audio sound card used as Output.
You're still unable connect your Sparkle ? Even in standalone ?

There must have been something wrong with the USB port, I took it out of one port put it in another
then it installed the driver, and it works !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for all the input, appreciate it !!
