Title: How much VCA click is normal or intendet?
Post by: 3phase on January 26, 2014, 03:01:37 am
when all oscilator volumes are down and the sequencer is runing or keys are pressed a little bumb on each trigger is audible.. turning the brute factor up turns this into a loud click. All envelope faders down

brute faktor at 12 o clock and all envelope faders up one notch gives silence operation.

Is this the normal condition? the clicking is not too bad actually, can be seen as a feature. Just wonder if its intended and really a feature or a calibration issue that varies on each unit..

it's by design, opening and closing a VCA very quickly (by using a gate signal, or zeroed envelope) gives a click. BruteFactor takes the audio from behind the VCA, so it does process the click. Everything seems normal...
