Own synthesis options. New Design. Looks terrific. ;D ;D ;D

Yup I was at NAMM today and got to see it in action. REX file support and the modulation matrix behind each analog modeled instrument are huge… Now if you want to layer a sample engine with an oscillator in one instrument, you can! Facelift is very nice, especially the SSL looking EQ, etc… They say it will be available in a couple months… Cant wait!

Where does this leave v1 hardware users?
-
Will there be an upgrade price for v1 users?
-
I have read on the kvr page that the update will be free for existing Spark users...so far it looks very promising
-
REEEALLY??? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D and free for existing users??? THANK YOU ARTURIA!!!

So when do we the Beta testers get our grubby little hands on the Spark 2 Beta? It better be soon before the drool breaks all my gear! ;D
I was getting so worried without a new update for a while - this is SUCH GREAT NEWS because it means Spark is not only alive and well but evolving! Thank you for all your hard work Arturia!
-
Judging from the pictures and video the new interface is 1000x better imo.
Good job guys and thank you so much!

The new song mode looks pretty good!
I love my SparkLe, hopefully they add more kits oriented to metal and heavy music.
Cheers.

Where does this leave v1 hardware users?
I been told there's no new hardware its just a software upgrade.

Well done Arturia the Spark really was crying out for a re-designed UI. Looks as though you really have taken it to the next level.
I hope a new SPARKLE hardware unit isn't introduced any time soon as I have literally just purchased one :)
Cant wait to download this, look amazing.

I love this. Is it March yet?
The modular drum synth is right up my alley. The main reason I chose spark was because a lot of the sounds were synthesized as opposed to samples (just a personal preference).
How about some details for current users? I mainly want to know if my current hardware will work with this.
EDIT: I actually read the article. It will work and will be free for current users. That's amazing. Thanks.

Hi ,your hardware will work with spark 2

The new software looks brilliant. By any chance has any sort of auto-recovery feature been added? I don't have problems often but on those odd times when it does crash, being able to recover would be really helpful!
-
just wondering if spark2 will add a feature to use the midi data of sparks sequencer to trigger my brutes via spark (cdm) midi out, just like the beatstep will do??
-
WOW...now I'm super excited! And I'm just getting used to the present software layout. ;D Arturia you ARE listening and paying attention to your users! The present software is pretty buggy....I've literally seen instrument names change and pattern numbers display the wrong pattern #. I hope there's a way to make the song mode longer as well. Very good news. :)
-
Maybe they should get version one working properly before they start on a new version
-
I can't wait for the beta.
-
hype for this!!!
-
Stoked!! ;D
-
Absolutely fantastic! ;) Mixer redesign is such a step up and the new song mode will be a huuuge relief.
Take into acount all the additions as well, and this is a total adrenaline shot for Spark owners' creativity.
Looking forward!
