i have the microbrute patched (gate out + pitch out) to my minitaur. SOnds massive, unfort. the CV_pitch is not translated well to the minitaur. i checked by playing a midi clip from ableton to both maschines, they are both fine. the Cv_pitch is too far of to finetune on the minitaur. :(

not sure about it, but i think the minitaur (as the minibrute) do add the CV input and the last played note. I think you should try to send the minitaur a Midi Note to set a proper reference note. Minibrute has the following CV/MIDI/Frequency mapping
C0 = 16.35Hz -> 0V -> midi 12
C1 = 32.7Hz -> 1V -> midi 24
C2 = 65.4Hz -> 2V -> midi 36
C3 = 130.8Hz -> 3V -> midi 48
C4 = 261.62Hz -> 4V -> midi 60
C5 = 523.25Hz -> 5V -> midi 72
C6 = 1046.5Hz -> 6V -> midi 84
C7 = 2093Hz -> 7V -> midi 96
C8 = 4186Hz -> 8V -> midi 108
C9 = 8372Hz ->9V -> midi 120
by th way I think the Minitaur is 0V to 5V, you should check with Mg if it can handle higher voltages.

amos from Mg gave me 2 files for caliberating the Mg cv in. it does not solve the problem, the mintiaur is always like a 3rd or 5th off when connected with cv out from micro, the tracking is also very wobbly

if you have a multimeter, you should check the output voltages of your MicroBrute, just to be sure the converter is properly calibrated, and that you are using the good notes to get 1V and 4V.
You need to check:
for 1V: set MicroBrute to octave -2, hit left C.
for 4V: set MicroBrute on octave 0, hit center C.
the measurement should be accurate by a few mV(depending on your multimeter precision)

1V=2.00
4v = 3.99 v
-3 octave give the 1v value
is it also normal that the micro keeps on outputting the last voltage ? even after removing and attaching the multi meter again.

for 1V did you hit center on left C? it should be left one.
It's normal that the output voltage is kept until the hit another key.

aaa.. misread the 1v: it fluctuates between 0.86 - 095

hum stange, 0.85 is very far from 1V. it's almost 2semitones lower. and it should not be fluctuating.
are you sure about your multimeter, and grounding for the back lead?
can you measure 1 semiton lower and 1 higher?
