Title: ABBA - lay all your love on me - Intro sound

Hello

Does somebody help me create ABBA - lay all your love on me - Intro sound with CS80V?
I think ABBA played this sound from original CS80 ...

I think the sound you're after was Probally created on a Yamaha GX-1.I'm not sure if benny andersson ever owned a CS-80.But the CS-80 should be able to do a very good job of recreating that sound.ABBA's later ablums and the Chess album were dominated by the GX-1.There is no synth that can come close to a GX-1 in terms of sound but with this Cs-80 emulation and my UAD-1 card i'm able to get what i think is close to a few of ABBA's sounds.From what i can hear there is more than one part to that sound i think it must be built up in layers.Are you intrested in  his sounds and work?

Just mind though that the GX-1 was able to have a different palette of sound compared to the CS80: the GX-1 had a LPF feeding a HPF whilst the CS80 had a HPF feeding a LPF.

Yea will try over the next few weeks to post a few of my sounds on here.But i'm no professional sound designer :o just a keyboard nut!
Anyhow here is link to a interesting story about a Yamaha gx1 which kind of got me hooked on the Yamaha CS-80 and Yamaha gx1.

Hi
Here is my version of the "lay all your love on me sound" sound.I think it still needs a bit of work but i think it isn't to far off!.I like to not use the delay on the CS-80 and instead add a little of bit off UAD-1 plate reverb emulation instead.I've left the delay on just to add ambience.I also like to use a hint of chourus ...agagin UAD-1 roland dimension D Just to give it more stero spread.
Once again i'm not that good a sound programer so feel more than free to work on it!!!!

I was bored and so I tweaked your Abba patch and finally got
a nice choral/soundscape pad out of it (reminds a bit of Mellotron/vp-330 choirs).

You can grab it  in .ext (EnergyXT (http://www.xt-hq.com/)) format here (http://www.s146380088.onlinehome.fr/Muzik/Cs-80v_Abba_Pads.ext).

You need the following plugins in your VST folder :

Minion 1x4 and 4x1  (http://www.devine-machine.com/minion/minionmultis.zip) (also very nice sound when deactivated, try it)
