Title: How to run Arturia products on a PC with Pro Tools LE 7.0 ?
Post by: original on April 09, 2006, 03:22:37 am
Hi everybody,

I am interested in some of Arturia's softwares such as the 2600 and the MiniMg synths.

They don't seem to be compatible with Pro Tools LE 7 on PC from what I am reading on Arturia's site (only Pro Tools LE 6 seems to be supported).

When all these products will become available for Pro Tools LE 7 on PC ?
How can I run Arturia products on a PC with Pro Tools LE 7.0 ?

ARP 2600V software has not been a big problem with Pro Tools 7 for me.  I increased my RAM to 2 GB and that Def. helps a lot with plug in's.. Pro-tools 7 is cpu hungry, but with either a very fast cpu and or 2 MB of RAM it works well.I wouldn't go beond 2GB RAM with windows XP. Also, clearing the clip board every few minutes has helped. I'm using a P4 CPU 2.60 GHz.  There is a free update avalaible from Arturia for PT 7.

If you want to use it live, I would recommend Brainspawn Forte. The program is extremely powerful and almost no latency (about 6ms). It is designed to be setup for live usage.
