Title: Hold button comes on without me pressing it

Hi, I am new to microfreak, had it a few days. The hold button comes on randomly without me pressing it. At first I though that maybe I was brushing it with a finger. But I'm not. It definitely has a life of its own. Can anyone advise? Thanks.
