Title: Today the data encoder stopped responding until I restarted the unit

the unit had been left on for a few days, but, the data encoder stopped properly responding.

I could click in the knob to select, but I turning it was ignored.
I think it might be a software glitch, as restarting the unit immediately brought back the functionality.
