Does anyone know how the combo jack detects the presence of a microphone? I recently got a bundle of some cheaper XLR cables, and some of them work fine with all 4 preamp channels on the AFstudio, and then some of them don't work on channels 2 and 3 because the AF doesn't detect them as microphone cables, so the input gain seems decoupled from them. However those cables work fine on inputs 1 and 4. Anyone else experienced behavior like this before? Never had trouble with my other cables, and they still work fine in channels 1-4.
