Title: CMI V samples are mono
Post by: Jon Donson on December 12, 2021, 11:35:01 pm
Just to clarify:
whenever you load a stereo sample into CMI V, only the left channel will be processed.
The right channel will be ignored.
(Fair enough if you want to mimick the original CMI style.)

After doublechecking:
not true.
Both channels are processed.

Hi,

Stereo samples does'nt show as two waveforms side by side, but both channels should sound.
Have you tried to import a stereo sample with a very clear left and right? You should be able to hear this.
If you change the sample using "convert to synthesis", then there will be differences, if you use the L+R channel setting or not, and thus indicate if you have both the L and the R sound data.

Can't tell if it also depend on the used file.

Sorry, just tried again. You're right. Just the left channel is shown but both channels are on the output. It's all good.
