Has anyone had trouble with the tap tempo button on the Keystep?
Trying to sync a sequence with the tempo of a live performance. Tapping the tempo button gives inconsistent results. Sometimes it matches the tempo of the song, sometimes it seems to play at half tempo; occasionally seems to play neither and gives a tempo slower than the tapped one but not half of it. Trying to ascertain whether it's an issue with the physical button occasionally not making a connection or if it's the way that the machine interprets the incoming taps.
Related supplementary question - is it possible to reassign the tap tempo input to a control on another keyboard -ie, assign it to a given MIDI input value?
