Title: Analog Lab V loaded in Studio One 5 eats up CPU resources, crashed DAW
Post by: David Galiel on June 03, 2021, 12:29:30 am
Each instance of the Analog Lab V AU plugin (version 5.2.0.1378), loaded into Studio One (ver. 5.2.1.64495), on MacOS (ver. 11.3.1) is now gobbling up, on average, a third of CPU resources, even when idle/empty track (which, in SO-5, should consume virtually no resources, no matter how many instances are loaded). This quickly peaks the "performance" meter in S0-5, crashing the DAW.

I can load 150+ MIDI tracks of full orchestral patches with no CPU load problems on my current MacBook, so this problem is unique to Analog Lab V.

I just installed version V, so I don't know if this is the result of the latest update of V, but it vertainly did not happen with previous versions of Analog Lab.

Thanks, I will.
If anyone else has experienced this problem (and/or has a solution) with the latest update to Analog Lab V, please let me know in the comments. :)
