Title: Controller will not connect to Analog Lab

So I just purchased a Keylab Essential 61. After downloading Analog Lab 2 like my instructions said to and plugging in my keyboard, there didn't seem to be any sound or any sign of connectivity to the program. I checked MIDI settings, clicked my keyboard in the selection, but was shown to have been deselected when I went back.

I tried this with other versions such as 4 and V to see if they would work but they resulted in the same thing. I feel like this should be an easy fix, what should I do?
