Title: Whenever not syncing internally, Rate knob becomes a MIDI #CC

If you're not using KS as a bpm master, which is common, the Rate knob is useless. This could be a way to continue using the whole existing interface. Alternatively, Rate knob + Shift = MIDI CC
Would also be nice if it was possible to assign it to a #CC by using the Channel numbers in the keyboard (without the midi Control Center) so you don't need a computer. Same for mod strip #CC.
