Title: Blue dot is impossible to see while adjusting modulation
Post by: tomatohorse on April 28, 2021, 04:00:36 pm
Problem: It's impossible to see the little blue dot which indicates the knob's adjusted value, when you are trying to modulate that knob. It gets covered over by the colored bars.

Problem visualized: there is a blue dot back there, but it is almost impossible to see:

Solution: move the dot outside of the colored bar's radius. Moreover, for better usability, when the user is tweaking the value, expand it to a small blue line for easier readability. To be clear, you don't need to expand all of them, for every dial. Just the one a user is editing, while they are dragging bars to edit it.

Proposed mockup: not only does this become possible to see now, but it is easier to notice while editing, due to its bigger size.

So again, all blue dots should be moved to an outside track so they are no longer obscured. And the one that is currently being edited should grow in size.
