Title: Analog studio wont save midi changes
Post by: clp@neo.rr.com on April 27, 2021, 05:35:41 am
I just got a Arturia KeyLab Essential 49 today and after about an hour I got it working on an online program called soundtrap, but I want more sounds so I opened Analog Studio 4 and clicked the midi input but nothing happened when I pressed a key, I checked the settings and its like i never checked it, and its been doing that for like 30 minutes, how do I stop/fix this?

Welcome.

Just so we know we're talking about the same software...by Analog Studio you mean Analog Lab 4 or 5, right?

Your symptoms sound like Analog Lab is not being allowed by your system to take exclusive ownership of the KeyLab, that's why the checkbox isn't staying checked. Make sure you don't have any other apps (such as Sound Trap, whatever that is) assigned to the KeyLab. Reboot if necessary, to make sure.

Any luck?

Click the on screen keyboard...are you getting sound that way? If not, check that you have selected the correct audio output device.
