After a while my Keylab MK II 88 looses MIDI connection. The only way so far, I have found, to reconnect is to restart my machine. I am using Win 10 latest.
Does anyone know a solution?

I googled windows 10 dropping midi connection and got a screenfull of hits, everything from it disliking certain hubs to needing to disable the USB power management features. As usual with Windows computers there appears to be no one cause and fix for similar symptoms because of the million and one different hardware configurations everyone is using.
If you're connecting through a passive or powered hub, try connecting directly to the motherboard, see if that fixes it. If you aren't, or if it doesn't, google how to disable the power management features on your computer's USB controller, which varies slightly depending on Windows version.
Hope you solve it.

Hi, did you ever resolve your midi dropout problem? I’m experiencing the same with my 61 mk2

I have exactly the same problem.
I guess (but I can't be sure) it started to happen after upgrading firmware to last version (nov.2021). I tried to revert to previous versions but the issue remains.
My keyboard stops operating and I have to reboot it.
I tried to connect it to 2 different notebooks so it is not a pc issue.
did anyone find a solution ??

any updates with this issue ??
I can't use my keyboard anymore ...

Hello,
Which Performance mode is your PC set to? Set it to High Performance mode.
Have you ensured the USB connections does'nt shut down to save power?
If this was about the new firmware version, then i would think many more would report this issue all the time.

It is not a problem with my PC. I tried to use another machine and I experienced the same behaviour.
My PC power mode is always high perf and I disabled power savings on usb ports.
I tried to use Arturia power splitter (the white box) but it happens the same.
I will return it to support but this happens randomly and it is not easy to be diagnosed.
